RUTA DE LA NARANJA EN CARCAIXENT

This thematic route goes about the culture of the orange in Carcaixent and is realized guided every last Sunday of the month, from November until May.

The route transports the participants to the period of glory of the culture of the Orange, combining the monumental landscape of the urban area of the village with the citrus trees landscape that surrounds it.

The Modernism is the protagonist of the architecture of the beginning of 20th century, when Carcaixent turns in “Bressol de la Taronja”, and it is produced the moment of maximum glory of this one culture. Buildings like “magatzem de Ribera” or “L’Hort de Soriano” forms a part of this tour, which in addition allows to the visitor to enjoy the way that makes the orange from the garden to the table of the consumers.
