Descents of the Xúquer 2026

The «Popular Júquer Descent» celebrates its 6th edition

This year a new descent is added for a total of five popular descents open to the public to travel the Júquer River in a canoe or SUP.

The 2026 Júquer Descent program is as follows

1. June 13 from Sumacàrcer to Antella (5 kilometers)

Includes transport from Antella to Sumacàrcer by bus before the descent.

2. June 14 from Antella to Alcàntera de Júquer (7 kilometers)

3. June 20 from Alzira to Algemesí (5 kilometers)

Includes transport from Algemesí to Alzira by bus at the end of the descent.

4. On July 18 from Sueca to Fortaleny (8 kilometers)

5. On September 19th from Fortaleny to Cullera (12 kilometers) (DATE UPDATED)

Includes transport from Cullera to Fortaleny by bus before the descent.

People interested in participating in the Descension del Júquer, can also do it by their own means – kayak and SUP – in the five stages. These registrations are limited.

4. On September 13 from Fortaleny to Cullera.

Participants will make a 12 kilometer journey between Fortaleny and Cullera.

Those interested in participating in the popular modality of the Descension del Júquer, can also do it by their own means – kayak and SUP – in the three stages. These registrations are limited.
